Understand before we plan
Before we think about venues, décor or vendors, we want to understand the people behind the event, what the occasion means to them and how they want it to feel.
About Threads of Amae
Threads of Amae began with our own wedding, but the idea behind it is much bigger: celebrations should feel personal, thoughtfully planned and easy to be present for.

Hi, we're Nishant and Shinjani.
We spent almost an entire year planning our own wedding. We searched for venues, spoke to vendors, compared prices, planned décor, worked through guest logistics and coordinated multiple functions ourselves.
By the time the wedding arrived, we knew every detail. The problem was that almost everything lived in our heads.
So when something needed coordinating during the celebrations, it often came back to us.
On the days when we should have simply been the bride and groom, part of us was still managing the event.
The realisation
The wedding made us realise that event planning is not simply about finding a beautiful venue or hiring good vendors.
It is about understanding what the occasion means to you, knowing every moving piece and making sure someone is carrying that responsibility when the day finally arrives.
That lesson stayed with us because bringing people together wasn't actually new to us. Over the years we've organised birthdays, family celebrations, large dinners and gatherings of our own simply because we genuinely enjoy thinking through the details and making an occasion feel special.
Our wedding just showed us how much more important that responsibility becomes when an event grows bigger, more emotional or more complex.
“We wish we'd had someone who could have taken care of all of this with us.”
That thought became Threads of Amae.
What matters to us
Different events need different plans. These principles stay the same.
Before we think about venues, décor or vendors, we want to understand the people behind the event, what the occasion means to them and how they want it to feel.
A meaningful event does not need an endlessly expanding budget. We help you understand where the money is going, where it is worth spending more and where it simply isn't.
Good event management means knowing the whole picture. Timelines, vendors, logistics, guests, families, production and details all need someone actively connecting them.
The people celebrating should not also be running the event. Our job is to carry the coordination so yours is to actually experience the occasion.
A word about budgets
We experienced first-hand how quickly pricing can change when an occasion becomes a wedding, a milestone or something emotionally significant.
Whether you're planning a ₹5 lakh wedding, a milestone birthday, an intimate dinner or a large corporate event, the amount you've decided to spend matters.
Our role is to help you understand where that money is going, what deserves priority and how to create something memorable within the budget that feels right for you.
Beyond weddings
Threads of Amae may have started with our wedding, but we don't see ourselves as only a wedding company. We want to help create occasions of every scale, mood and purpose.
Intimate or large-scale. Personal or professional. Traditional or entirely unconventional. If it's an event, we'll start by understanding what you're trying to create.
Why Threads of Amae?
People. Places. Food. Music. Traditions. Design. Logistics. Memories. Tiny details.
Separately, they're individual pieces. Together, they become the experience people remember.
That's what Threads of Amae is here to do: understand the pieces, connect them thoughtfully and make sure they come together when it matters.
From us
We're building Threads of Amae from something very personal to us, and we'd love to bring that same care to the moments that matter to you.
We want to take some of the weight off your shoulders, make the planning feel clearer and make sure that when the day arrives, you actually get to be present for it.
And if you choose to celebrate with us, you'll become a small part of our story too.
